Background
Houck & Associates specializes in ambulatory care consulting & training services for health care organizations throughout the United States. Specializing in the redesign and sustainable improvement, our staff brings industry experience that few firms can match, beyond consulting to managing and leading healthcare outpatient organizations, even providing care. This broad, hands-on expertise brings clients more practical, real world solutions; the ability to understand your needs and build internal skills to sustain improvement. The result? Rather than being blind-sided by today’s challenges, clients gain a new ease in implementing enduring improvements in medical office practice.
In addition to extensive national consulting work, our staff speaks regularly at national healthcare conferences sponsored by the American Hospital Association, American Medical Group Association, Medical Group Management Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. We also publish in national journals and serve on Advisory Boards for the healthcare organizations.
Before founding Houck & Associates, Suzanne Houck served as a health care management consultant with KPMG, Chief Operating Officer of Critical Care Inc, ambulatory care manager, and nurse practitioner in academic, public health and private practice ambulatory care settings.
