Before founding Houck & Associates, Suzanne Houck served as a health care management consultant with KPMG, Chief Operating Officer of Critical Care Inc, ambulatory care manager, and nurse practitioner in university, private practice, and community health settings. Suzanne also provided assistance to healthcare insurers and vendors regarding emerging healthcare trends and effective strategies.

Charles Kilo, MD
Associate Consultant

Charles Kilo, MD, previously served as Vice President at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and directed the Idealized Office Redesign Collaboratives nationwide and internationally. He also served as Chief Medical Officer MyHealthBank, and serves as a Senior Fellow, Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Dr. Kilo also is the founder and CEO of GreenField Health System, a national model of redesigned physician office practice.

Deborah Mahon

Before joining Houck & Associates, Ms Mahon served as a Vice President with PhyCor, a national physician practice management organization. Her responsibilities included clinic operations, over seeing 368 employees, business development, practice management, and human resources. Ms. Mahon also served as Chief Operating Officer for Health Services where she developed TQM and CQI protocols as well as performance standards for business and clinical functions.

Jill K. Arena, FACMPE
Consultant

Jill K. Arena, has served as the COO of GreenField Health, a network of innovative primary care practices and has 19 years experience assisting physician groups with the implementation and use of electronic health records as well as practice redesign. She serves on the Oregon Health Commission’s Subcommittee on EHR Implementation, and speaks frequently on topics of computerization in the physician office environment. Jill is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
